The Microsoft Unified Communications Virtual User Group (UCVUG) will be hosting it's quarterly meeting on August 20th, 2009 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time (-5 GMT). This event will be broadcast online via Microsoft Live Meeting. Please register if you plan to attend so that we can get a count of how many attendees to plan for.

Tom Laciano
Tom Laciano is currently a Sr. Program Manager with the Unified Communications team at Microsoft. His team handles enterprise customers deploying Microsoft products during the pre-rtm phase and a few selected customers after RTM ensuring their successful deployment. His blog contains information about Microsoft products as he works with them and includes information that helps to clarify pain points his team knows about from their pre-rtm work as well as repetitive issues they see in supporting customers at RTM.
Tom joined Microsoft in 1993 as a temp and 1994 full time supporting DOS 5.x, Windows 3.x, Windows for Workgroups 3.x. Windows 95 and then moved to support Exchange 4.0 (beta 2) and quickly joined the connectors specialty team. He supported Exchange 2000 and Conferencing Server a little bit and moved to training only to return to support in 2003 supporting Live Communications Server 2003 then LCS 2005 SP1 and served as the beta engineer for Communicator Web Access, Communicator Mobile and shortly with OCS 2007.
